Venue Profile: Churasuko in Tysons, Vienna, VA — Inside the First Japanese–Brazilian Steakhouse of Its Kind
Spotlight’s venue profile of Churasuko at 1755 Tysons Central Street in Vienna, Virginia, the steakhouse Washingtonian called the first of its kind: its most striking spaces, best tableside moments, bar and private dining, rated 4.4 stars from 607 Google reviews.

Churasuko’s story centers on two culinary traditions: Japanese cuisine and Brazilian barbecue. The restaurant describes itself as “Brazilian spirit, Japanese craftsmanship”: fire-grilled churrasco carved tableside, Japanese specialties, sushi and seafood, served together at 1755 Tysons Central Street in Tysons, with a Vienna, VA 22182 mailing address.
The most striking space is the dining room, beneath a sculptural ceiling and warm lighting. A central bar glows under curved brass fixtures, intimate private-dining tables are framed by flowing curtains, and warm wood and brass details run through the space.
The press has noticed the room. Washingtonian, which called Churasuko the first Japanese–Brazilian fusion steakhouse of its kind, wrote that “the glass-enclosed, high-ceilinged dining room has a dreamy quality to it.” Northern Virginia Magazine described how “gold details take light woods to luxe heights.” Guests rate it 4.4 stars across 607 Google reviews.
The best moments happen at the table. Chefs tend steaks over an open-fire churrasco grill before the cuts are carved for each guest, a seafood tower arrives with oysters and sashimi, and in the Founders Club experience A5 Japanese Miyazaki Wagyu is carved tableside. The all-you-can-eat experiences are Prestige at $75, VIP Club at $95 and Founders Club at $150 per guest.
Churasuko is opening a new chapter: new management, a reimagined menu and a new Executive Master Chef whose name will be revealed later. A Sunset Hour at the bar, with cocktails built on citrus, botanicals, whisky, sake and cachaça, is coming soon.
Churasuko is open Wednesday and Thursday, 5–10 p.m.; Friday, 5–11 p.m.; Saturday, 12–11 p.m.; and Sunday, 12–10 p.m. It is closed Monday and Tuesday. Retail parking is free for the first two hours, and valet parking is available. Reserve through OpenTable, and plan celebrations or private events by calling (757) 755-3265.
