MUI Supper Club in North Bethesda, MD: The Best Way to Plan Opening-Week Dinner

Choose regular dining, the six-seat omakase counter or a separate event reservation at MUI Supper Club in North Bethesda, MD.

MUI Supper Club at 967 Rose Ave, North Bethesda, MD 20852, gives opening-week diners three different things to book: a regular dinner, the six-seat omakase counter or a special event. Deciding which evening you want is the useful first step. A table reservation and an event reservation are separate arrangements.

The official website, checked November 3, 2026, lists opening night as November 1, a closure on November 2 and 3, and service resuming November 4. That distinction matters when planning around opening week: November 4 is the return to service, rather than the original opening night.

Start with the kind of dinner you want

For a regular table, use the restaurant's Toast reservation page: https://toast.app/r/9aadaf8e-9fc7-466d-814b-dbbd0bddef99/reserve. Parties larger than six need staff approval. If you are arranging a larger gathering, speak with the team about the group before treating a table request as confirmed.

Regular dining lets you choose from the restaurant menu. The chef-specials section lists Wagyu with carrot, black garlic miso and black garlic dashi, Whole Branzino, Creamy Cedar Salmon, Lobster Uni Pasta and a 44-ounce Aged Prime Tomahawk. Robata, crudo, maki, nigiri and sashimi provide other ways to build the meal. These are restaurant-menu examples, not a promised omakase lineup. See https://www.muisupperclub.com/menu.html for the current selection.

Leave time for the omakase counter

The website describes a six-seat omakase counter with twelve courses and an approximately three-hour experience. Reservations are required, and the menu changes with the market. Ask the team about the counter's current booking arrangements, menu and price before committing to the evening.

Our best planning advice is to choose regular dining when choosing individual dishes is the priority, and the counter when you want to set aside time for a chef-led sequence. The choice depends on how you want to spend the evening; neither description guarantees availability on a particular date.

Keep event bookings separate

Special-event reservations are handled in the MUI app. Check https://www.muisupperclub.com/app.html for access and the event's own reservation details. A Toast dinner booking does not reserve a place at a separate event.

For private gatherings, https://www.muisupperclub.com/events.html describes celebrations for up to 40 guests, corporate dinners for up to 24 and private chef's-table arrangements for up to eight. That eight-person private arrangement is distinct from the six-seat omakase counter. Discuss the date, group size and menu with the restaurant rather than assuming the options are interchangeable.

Plan the trip

The regular schedule lists Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5 to 10 PM, Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to midnight, and Tuesday closed. Check the official site for temporary changes before leaving. Discuss allergies and dietary needs when booking.
